DVD - Meet Your Local TrapperThis DVD is a must for schools, especially for those students studying the fur trade. It is full of short chapters encompassing everything from why we manage fur to the science behind it, as well as interviews with key scientists involved in wildlife research. There is an animated sequence on the fur trade, and Studio NAFA takes us into the world of fur design.Ross Hinter explains concepts to students such as habitat, carrying capacity of the land and examines the predator-prey relationship. Although various schools can use information from this DVD , almost anyone with an interest in furbearer management will find the DVD interesting and beneficial.  Alberta's Heritage, Conservation and the Trapping Culture come together. This DVD is part of our school fur kit, but is also sold separately and is available for $25 + tax + a $2 shipping fee in Alberta. To obtain a copy, please contact our office for information:  EMAIL or call 780-349-6626. DVD running time is approximately 100 minutes.
